Yet, Kalaweddhah is seen here yesterday (27th) at Cinammon Lakeside hotel, still defiant and expecting his adopted homeland, US will use force to install him as President..while the looks of the rest of the band of Gembo are of pure hopelessness in the face of peoples power!

What i respect about Ranil Wicramasingha and Rauf Hakeem is that them being astute politicians, they accepted defeat and was seen silent and in pensive mood at the same Press Brief while strangely ..the main architect of this unholy alliance of a motley collection of jokers ,Mangala Samaraweera was no where to be seen!

No, Not the Dear Leader of North Korea.. i meant our own late V.P...kinda sad to know that he got part of his head blown off by some skinny soldier from Kurunegala or Anuradhapura (where most of the Army comes from..) .. oh.. all that 'Sun Goat' and the works.. the Poems and the Pongu Thamil gigs...ah.. all down the toilet amongst the marshes of Puthumathalan....

Art deco Bike..

Went passed a Sangamitththa Perahera or a Buddhist procession marking the arrival of Theri Sangamittha (a thousand odd years back..) on Poya Day while passing Mirigama.the Bike sure looked quite fancy with the deco,and this was just one of dozens taking part..among few Elephants,loads of Dancers and the works...
