Projected 'Liberation' ...

[pix by unknown]

As part of the renewed campaign for the liberation of Aung San Suu Kyi, the European Parliament has projected her image onto one of its Brussels buildings, along with its message in English and Burmese saying "Free Aung San Suu Kyi now" ...

Projecting pictures of imprisoned political leaders on walls of a Parliament in far away European capital is not going to get Suu Kyi released , instead the people inside the very Parliament can tell countries like France and Germany to stop dealing with Myanmar in terms of joint Oil and Gas exploration/extraction (France) and Iron ore/Minerals (Germany) trade.

But in a realistic world this doesn't happen but in the name of 'Liberation' they project pictures on their walls.

Western duplicity at its best.

A good post: short and sweet!

Sri Lankans tasted the first hand experience of the western duplicity when the LTTE terrorist were about to be decimated. Their duplicity and hypocrisy were well exposed. Though we have had enough of deceitful acts by them for over many centuries the latest has been monumental.

They tried their best to smuggle out the ruthless terrorist leader along with his cohorts from SL while exerting undue pressure on us under the pretext of “genocides”. While the LTTE has been banned as a terrorists group in their soils, the former has been allowed to carry out huge demonstrations with the tiger emblem on display.

However, gone are the days of those hypercritics enjoining the field days as was well exemplified by SL by not bowing to their pressure. The emergence of world powers from Southern hemisphere is well underway now. There have been signs of their importance being recognized by nations like SL. Not much distanced future those hypercritic western nations will be spent force.
